I don’t usually type of reviews but for this place it was a must. We were in Clearwater from out of state. We came all the way from Kentucky and when we hit Clearwater our check engine light came on. Bad solenoid. They were extremely responsive and respectful and got me in and out within 5 hours. They did not overprice me, or try to upsell me on a thing. They even performed a safety checkup due to the nature of our travel. Excellent place, wonderful people, perfect service. Would recommend this shop to ANYONE!!

From the moment I called Honka, the experience felt different. I explained that my van had overheated, and they immediately told me to bring it in as soon as I could so they could take a look. From that first phone call through the final (current) repair, I felt like they genuinely cared about helping me and getting my van fixed the right way. Jose at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. He handled everything, worked closely with my extended warranty company, kept me informed, and made sure I got the best deal possible. My van needed a lot of work, and he was honest about what was urgent, what could safely wait, and where they could help lower my out-of-pocket cost. Tim went above and beyond by giving me a ride home after I dropped the van off and then picking me back up when it was ready. That meant so much during an already stressful situation. The technician was also amazing. He took the time to explain everything clearly, showed me the diagnostic readings, and made sure I understood what was happening. When one of the replacement parts was technically functioning but was not the correct OEM specification for my Dodge, they did not tell me to accept the van running hotter than normal. They kept it, worked with the warranty company again, replaced the part with the correct one, and made sure the repair was truly right. They did an excellent job coordinating everything with the warranty company and standing behind their work. Did I mention how quickly the completed the work? 2 days! Amazing! Honka earned my trust, and that is not something I give easily. They were kind, honest, thorough, and genuinely cared about making sure my family had a safe and properly repaired vehicle. I highly recommend them! Thank you to Jose, Tim, the technician, and the entire Honka team!
